Algeria-NATO: Mr. Magramane receives Admiral Rob Bauer

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Lounès Magramane, received Wednesday in Algiers the Chair of the Military Committee of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Admiral Rob Bauer, who is visiting Algeria from April 17 to 19, 2024.
The visit is part of a tour by the Ottonian representative of NATO's Mediterranean Dialogue partner countries.
Discussions provided an opportunity to discuss partnership relations between Algeria and NATO, as well as ways to bolster them to meet the aspirations of both parties, particularly in the context of the implementation of the next bilateral cooperation program, entitled "Individualized Partnership Program", to be decided by both parties.
The two sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common interest, primarily the challenges facing the Mediterranean region and developments in the Sahel-Sahara region and the Palestinian issue.
On these latter points, Magramane recalled Algeria's efforts to develop and stabilize the Sahel region, as well as the steps undertaken within the United Nations (UN) Security Council to halt the genocidal actions in Gaza.
